Life before birth and life after death

Life Before Birth and Life after death. Ghosts, Haunting of Ghosts etc...

All the substances(elements) in this universe under different conditions are subject to transformation to three states, namely solid, liquid and gas. And are available in these three forms in the universe in varied degrees under different circumtances and conditions.

Similarly, different living beings and substances(non living things) eexist in these three forms of substances.

Regarding life, sould and death, since time immemrorial to the present age, no exact definition or explanation could be given. Many also tried to do so have ended in giving a partial description or explanation thereof from which an exact idea could not be got of. The attempt which I have made under this heading is more or less of the same category. Why this difficulty has been experienced till now, eventhough birth, life and deatch are so common phenomenon in this nature? Even lord Krishna, in Bhagavat Gita what is said about soul instead of life

Rebirth and Reincarnation

Rebirth/Reincarnation as understood by modern scientists and ancient religions....

As understood by ancient hindu religion as well as persent generation, living beings are made up of five gross elements(substances) namely Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether(sky) and after death the same merges with those five gross elements (Panch Bhuta's).

Scientists also find and belive that the living body is made up of different elements in certain propotions contained (found) in this universe. And after death, merges with the same in the universe.

From the above it follows during birth, in grown up adult and during death whatever substances are found in the living body by such similar and same substances from this universe living being is reborn and is made up of. In this wider sense a layman, educated depply religious may readily believe that in this universe rebirh or re-incarnation is here. This phenomenon has been continuing from the time of origin of life.

In this way there is rebirth and reincarnation in this universe. With our limited capacity in particular and in individual cases though it is difficult to prove or explain the phenomenon of rebirth by taking the help of physics theory of transformation of energy from one form to other and conservation of energy it may be rather possible in a general way as explained above to prove rebirth/reincarnation.

However by quoting many instances in our ancient scriptures and beliefs existing with our ancestors in this regard and the reports heard and made in the news papers in modern times that many are lead to believe that there is something like reincarnation in this universe.

Intution Vision as opposed to Hallucination, illusion and imagination

In olden days, in the absense of sensory mechanisms as are available in these days, many of us believed that great saints, hermits, sadhus, sanyasis and devotees use to train their minds and senses so as to use them to become poweful mechanisms for the perceptions of the micro and macro level objects and use to name such mental and sensory organs power as intuition, vision etc, which a moderm educated described it as imagination, illusion, hallusination etc etc.

With ones personal experience even in modern times, to some extent, such things are possible for those who by constant traiing and concentration and by yoga excercises, meditation make their mind, sensory organs and body as a powerful mechanism of perception and for the modern educated it may look as hallucination, illusion or imagination as opposed to reality.

Lfe, Soul and Death

Life may be defined, rather explained in a scientific way as energy (both kinetic and potential) co-ordinated in and by its different forms, namely heat, light, sound, electricity and magnetism, and also different chemical combinations, enabling the regular functioning (individually, collectively and separately) of different organs and parts of the body, thus betraying the characteristics of living being(life) both voluantarily, involuantarily and automatically and when faily partly or wholly resulting in a state called death.

In short, what is not living is dead or inanimate!

When we see living being, we cannot see exactly life on the contrary what we are seeing are the symptoms of life because as forsaid, life is a combination of co-ordinated different forms of energy along with certain checmical combinations enabling the functioning of different parts and organs of the body in a living being.

Human Value

When we speak of value of human beings one may wonder that human beings are not offered for sale like other commodities in market and hence such a thinking is strange and has hardly any practical value.

In economics, price of thing is its value expressed in terms of money.

As far as human beings are concerned though they are legally not offered for sale, their services are offered, purchased and hired. Professionals, servants, employees, thier services are engaged for a price as per the terms and conditions agreed upon.

In our hindu mythology, sun dynasty king Harishchandra sold his wife, son and himslef for a price. Why till recently, slave trade was in vogue. Even in modern times we hear and read in newspapers of flesh trade, selling of young girls. "Jeethadalu, etc etc. Sellings of young girls etc etc thought not allowed by present lay of many countires, still it is heard and read about.

As per the materialistic thinking that is according to economists there are only two things are offerered for sale and purchased - goods and services. We are also hearing and reading about the offere and sale of human parts and organs which are purchased for transplantation, transfusion and grafting, and which is allowed by the law of many countries.

Value of human life is assessed for life insurance purposes by the premium paying capacity of the person proposed to insure. This value for practical purpose only.

Highly qualified or trained person possess potential capacity and unless that potential capacity is released and translated into the form of useful and constructive work, such potential capacity, many a time has hardly any value for practical purposes. In other words, potential capacity has its value when translated to action and not inaction.

Welfare

It is collectively, mutually, jointly, separately and individually our primary as well as continuous and ultimate duty to kepp all of us from birth to death pleased, contended, satisfied and happy.

Duty if not legal, it may be moral, religious, social and so forth.

What are the various ways to achieve this noble objective?

Whether the means adaopted should justify the end?

For example it is not equally easy to keep all persons pleased. Similarly, means adopted, efforts put in, time taken may vary from person to person, from time to time, from situations to situations to get persons contended and pleased.

Contentment is a relative concept and with the same things, with the same efforts, same results may be obtained. In otherwords with the same means adopted with different persons, different results may be achieved.

Like contentment, satisfactions is also a relative state of mind. While many get pleased and reman satisfied but some never get pleased and satisfied at all. Happiness is also the end product and result of contentment and satisfaction.

Even an individual has a great role to play to keep himself contended and satisfied and to remain happy by slef help to the extent possible when the due and deserving help is not readily forthcoming or at times one does not want to avail such help for the reasons best known to him.

From birth to death all of us have various capabilities by virtue of the position we take up, the work we perform, relations we have develop and sustain and we in all these capacities, have to act, perform, work and fulfil this role. Throughout our life always we should act well and perform the role well. During this period not only we should make it a point to remain pleased and contended, statisfied and happy, we should also see that the others with whom we deal, work and live also feel the same way.

It may look strange, if one when says that he lives for himself. It may appear still more strange if a mother says that she lives for herself. No one can live for himself without depending on other people or other living beings. For in this universe depending on others is a must and may be considered a universal rue. It is more so among the members of the society.

If one says he lives by himself, it necessarily means he has to exploit others, for this purpose. Exploitation may be the least in some cases, but it cannot be altogether avoided or eliminated.

Dependence is essential not only at indiviual level, but also at family level, joint family level, socielty level, village level, state level, country level and even global and universe level, for it is a universal rule.

Similarly in ones earnings, apparently or by implications they are meant for the benefits of himself and others who are dependent upon him.
